This high-precision speedometer drive gear was developed specifically for the VW T3 Syncro and impresses with its outstanding quality and durability. Made of high-quality polyamide 12 and reinforced with 15-20% carbon fiber, it offers excellent stability and durability – even under heavy loads. You can choose between two variants/components:

• the speedometer pinion including pre-assembled drive shaft for a particularly easy and quick installation
• or just the speedometer pinion, which you can press onto the existing drive shaft after removing the defective part.

⚠️ Assembly instructions ⚠️

• Before installation, check that the metal worm gear is in good condition and matches the correct pinion size and pairing (part number). Also, make sure the speedometer cable moves and rotates smoothly.
• Likewise, the shaft for the new drive shaft or your existing shaft should be in perfect condition so that the shaft rotates smoothly and without resistance after installation. If this is not the case, we recommend reworking the shaft with a 10.00 mm H7 reamer or replacing it if necessary.
• Also, make sure there are no foreign objects or debris in the gearbox. If such contaminants are present, we recommend disassembling the housing and thoroughly cleaning it to prevent future damage.

This exceptional strength makes this material virtually indestructible – ideal for demanding applications where durability and reliability are paramount. The material is also oil-resistant and can easily withstand temperatures of up to 200°C, making it ideal for use in extreme conditions.
