Manufactured by PrinTec-Technology from high-grade polyamide 12 and reinforced with 15–20% glass fiber, it offers excellent stability and resistance – even under heavy loads. The precise fit allows for easy installation and ensures that the speedometer functions perfectly again after the repair.

You have the choice between two variants/components:

• the speedometer pinion including pre-assembled drive shaft for particularly easy and quick installation
• or just the speedometer pinion, which you can press onto the existing drive shaft after removing the defective part.

⚠️ Assembly instructions ⚠️

• Before installation, check that the metal worm shaft is in perfect condition and matches the correct pinion size and/or pairing (part number). Also, ensure that the speedometer cable moves and rotates smoothly.
• Similarly, the shaft for the new drive shaft or your existing shaft should be in perfect condition so that the shaft rotates smoothly and without resistance after installation. If this is not the case, we recommend reworking the shaft with a 10.00 mm H7 reamer or, if necessary, replacing it.
• Furthermore, ensure that there are no foreign objects or debris in the gearbox. Should such contaminants be present, we recommend disassembling the housing, cleaning it thoroughly, and thus preventing future damage.

• Our high-strength, modified polyamide 12 has a long-chain structure and is reinforced with 15–20% carbon fiber. Compared to POM, it offers up to 130% greater strength and stability. Its exceptional strength makes this material virtually indestructible – ideal for demanding applications where durability and reliability are paramount. Furthermore, the material is oil-resistant and easily withstands temperatures up to 200 °C, making it perfectly suited for use in extreme conditions.
